Sprint Triathlon:
To apply for the competition all eligible competitors must follow these steps:

Entry Allowance
Sprint Triathlon:
Institutions are permitted two guaranteed entries, and an unlimited number of non-guaranteed entries. Institutions must rank their competitors on ¹û¶³ÊÓÆµ Play in order of preference before the closing date. If the event reaches capacity these rankings will be used to determine the start list.
The capacity for this event is 550 competitors.
Mixed Relay:
Institutions are permitted 1 team entry to the Mixed Relay. The team must comprise of two females and two who meet the criteria of an ‘open’ athlete. For clarity the definitions of ‘female’ and ‘open’ please refer to British Triathlons Transgender Policy .
Competition Format & Course Description
The ¹û¶³ÊÓÆµ Sprint Triathlon will comprise of:
400m Swim – 8 lengths of 50m swimming pool
18km Open Road Bike
5km Closed Road Run
The ¹û¶³ÊÓÆµ Mixed Relay will comprise of:
150m Swim – 3 lengths of 50m swimming pool
7.5km Open Road Bike
1.7km Closed Road Run

Open Overall Team – The team placing shall be determined by the fastest cumulative time for three open athletes from the same institution.

Women’s Overall Team – The team placing shall be determined by the fastest cumulative time for three female athletes from the same institution.
Only one team per university per team competition will be awarded ¹û¶³ÊÓÆµ points.
*Para-athletes of all eligible classifications compete alongside non-disabled athletes but results for eligible para-athletes are extracted and ranked separately on a multi-classification basis using a factoring system.
Please note that ¹û¶³ÊÓÆµ points will not be allocated where the minimum number of competitors has not been reached, and where there are not enough individual scores to extract a team score. Furthermore, an individual/team must have beaten another individual/team to score ¹û¶³ÊÓÆµ points (i.e. if 3 individuals finish an event, only 2 will score ¹û¶³ÊÓÆµ points)

First Race Briefing - Sunday 4 May 7:50am (poolside)
Race Starts - Sunday 4 May 8am
Athletes start from 8am in waves of 70 swimmers. These are virtual waves designed to minimise queuing time in the pool. In practice it’s a continuous start as people step off the timing mat. Race briefings will be repeated outside the pool, next to transition, for each subsequent wave.
Mixed Relay Starts - Sunday 4 May 2pm
Please note: The timetable is subject to change depending on entry numbers. Final wave times will be released in the Event Guide once entries close.
Withdrawals
To withdraw, please contact your institution administrator who should contact the event lead.
The entry fee will not be charged for entries withdrawn prior to the entry deadline, Once the closing date has passed, entry fees will be charged for any withdrawals following Reg 7.9.

Anyone wishing to take photos or video at this event must complete the ¹û¶³ÊÓÆµ Media Accreditation Form prior to the event. &²Ô²ú²õ±è;
¹û¶³ÊÓÆµ reserves the right to prohibit photography equipment being used at a ¹û¶³ÊÓÆµ event. ¹û¶³ÊÓÆµ reserves the right to request that the individual ceases to take photographs, deletes any images and, if considered necessary, leaves the venue. &²Ô²ú²õ±è;
